Musicians Never Plan Ahead

Sad but true...we are ever hopeful that we will make it to "The Big Time"
Granted, for most of us it is a fun ride and a satisfying occupation.
We wouldn't have it any other way...But the "Beach Money" we were looking for
often doesn't materialize. Lets face it , the gigs are thinning out just like our
long hair.
"Beach Money" is just what it sounds like...Money to spend while you're lazing
around on the Beach ..or doing what you please with plenty of cash to keep you going.
Not a lot to ask but sometimes takes a little focus for a bit...to get it.
One of the ways to start...especially if you've burned a few bridges
is to continue on being the "nice guy" that you are and use some of the
people skills you've learned along the way...Musicians...are always friendly ..Right?
Don't count yourself out of the game for "Beach Money" Jordan Adler's book
"Beach Money" really says it all..It's short and to the point...but it's a manual
for a new life that some of us musicians can learn from....
